Welcome to PoerSmart Key. This agreement explains the functions, permissions, data processing methods, and your rights involved when you use this software to manage EV charging devices. If you do not agree, please stop using the related features.
1. Service Content
This software is used to add, view, and manage charger devices. It supports QR code device recognition, saving device names and notes, connecting devices over Bluetooth, broadcasting authorization start signals, reading device operating data, adjusting charging current, switching start modes, reading local firmware packages and performing firmware upgrades, and viewing after-sales contact information.
You must ensure that you only manage devices you are authorized to use, and that charging parameter adjustments and firmware upgrades are performed in a safe environment. You are responsible for risks caused by using this software in violation of device instructions, electrical safety requirements, or local laws and regulations.
2. Permission Usage
Camera, album, and flashlight: used to scan or select a device QR code and parse the device MAC address and connection key. These are not actively used when QR scanning is not in use.
Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy, and iBeacon: used to search for and connect charger devices, broadcast device authorization, read device data, send control commands, and perform firmware upgrades.
Location permission: some systems require location to be enabled before Bluetooth or iBeacon devices can be scanned. This software uses this permission only for nearby device discovery and Bluetooth authorization, not for continuous positioning, navigation, or movement tracking.
Network, Wi-Fi status, and local file reading: used to determine basic network status and read static firmware resources on non-App platforms. In the current version, firmware packages are built into the app, and device data upload to remote servers is not implemented.
Clipboard: used only when you tap to copy an after-sales email address or phone number.
The app configuration may declare compatibility permissions such as account, phone status, logs, system settings, vibration, and wake lock. Current business code does not actively read contacts, call content, account information, or system logs. If related capabilities are added in the future, separate notice and necessary authorization should be provided before use.
3. Data Collection and Local Storage
This software locally stores the device information you add, including the device ID or MAC, device name, notes, the currently selected device, and the local data version number. The connection key is sensitive data. It is encrypted before being stored on this device and decrypted only when needed for authorization broadcast, Bluetooth connection, and device control.
Device operating data includes voltage, current, power, temperature, start mode, firmware version, and similar information. It mainly comes from the currently connected Bluetooth device and is used for page display and control feedback. The current implementation does not upload this data to the cloud.
QR code decryption and parsing are completed locally to obtain the device MAC and connection key. Please keep the device QR code and connection key secure to prevent unauthorized control of your charger device.
When a device is deleted, this software removes the corresponding locally saved device information. Uninstalling the app or clearing app data may also delete this local data.
4. Device Operation Risks
Adjusting charging current, switching start modes, enabling authorization broadcast, disconnecting, and upgrading firmware may affect device operating status. Confirm that the device, vehicle, and power supply environment meet requirements before operating.
During firmware upgrades, keep the app running in the foreground, maintain a stable Bluetooth connection, and avoid power loss. Upgrade failure may cause abnormal device functionality. Contact after-sales support if necessary.
5. Data Sharing and Cross-Border Transfer
The current version does not include analytics, advertising, or an account system, and does not actively share device data with third parties. If you contact after-sales support, the email, phone number, device ID, fault description, and other information you provide will be used for after-sales handling.
This software is planned for global sales. If cloud services, remote diagnostics, cross-border after-sales support, or third-party services are added later, we will provide necessary notices, legal bases, cross-border transfer explanations, and choices as required by applicable law.
6. Your Rights
You can manage permissions such as camera, Bluetooth, and location in system settings. After disabling permissions, QR scanning, device discovery, connection, authorization broadcast, and similar features may be unavailable.
You can edit or delete local device records on the device information page, or delete locally saved information by clearing app data.
Different countries and regions may grant you rights such as access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing, or complaint. You can contact us through the after-sales email displayed in this software.
7. Minors
This software is not intended for independent use by minors. Minors should use it with guardian consent and guidance, and must not independently operate functions that may affect charging safety.
8. Agreement Updates
We may update this agreement due to product functionality, legal requirements, or compliance strategy changes. For important changes, we should notify you in the app in a reasonable manner. Continuing to use this software means you accept the updated agreement.
App Store Review Notes
- The current version does not include analytics, advertising, or an account system.
- Device information and operating data are mainly stored locally on the user device or come from the currently connected Bluetooth device. Connection keys are stored locally after encryption.
- The log collection feature reads local logs and copies them to the clipboard only after the user actively taps it. The user decides whether to send them to support.
- If cloud services, third-party SDKs, or cross-border processing are added later, the terms and in-app notices will be updated accordingly.
